Youth Leadership Academy
Developing the next generation of community leaders through faith-based guidance, mentorship, and hands-on service.
The Youth Leadership Academy is Zoeist's flagship mentorship initiative, designed for young people ages 14–24 who demonstrate a desire to lead and serve. Over the course of a structured 12-month program, participants are paired with experienced mentors from their communities — professionals, educators, and faith leaders — who guide them through a curriculum built around character development, public speaking, conflict resolution, and civic engagement.
Each cohort meets weekly for workshops and monthly for community service projects. Participants learn to organize events, facilitate group discussions, and advocate for causes they care about. The program culminates in a capstone project where each participant designs and executes a service initiative in their neighborhood, applying every skill they've gained throughout the year.
Since its founding, the Youth Leadership Academy has graduated over 300 young leaders, many of whom have gone on to serve in student government, launch community organizations, and earn leadership scholarships at colleges and universities across the Southeast. The Academy doesn't just build résumés — it builds conviction, compassion, and the confidence to act.
